Mood Violet is a concept curation practice focused on defining visual language for brands, spaces & experiences.
The work centres on translating inspiration into clear visual direction, shaping how ideas ultimately look, feel & are remembered.
the ART of MODERN ROMANTICISM
Mood Violet approaches concept development through a modern romantic lens.
Modern romanticism acknowledges that the world can be complicated, imperfect & often impersonal, yet still believes in elevating everyday experiences into something more meaningful.
It favors emotion without sentimentality, beauty with depth & atmosphere that feels intentional rather than performative.
This perspective often results in environments & brands that feel cinematic, layered & quietly distinctive, drawing from nature, fashion, art & architecture while remaining grounded in real human experience.
THE ROLE
Many projects involve talented collaborators, designers, photographers, architects & makers, yet still struggle to feel cohesive.
Mood Violet steps in to synthesize inspiration, clarify intention & define the visual language that ties everything together.
The result is a concept that feels coherent, memorable & true to the founder’s vision — giving teams a clear direction to build from.
THE PERSON BEHIND MOOD VIOLET
My name is Jordyn Potter, I’m a concept curator based in Toronto.
My work sits at the intersection of branding, environment & experience design, shaped by over fifteen years working behind the scenes across fashion, events, visual display & brand development.
Throughout that time, a consistent thread emerged: helping founders step back from the noise of the creative process & clarify the visual world they are trying to build.
I believe that thoughtful visual language can transform how people experience a space, a brand or a moment.
